How much does it cost to register for Spring League?

 

The 2017 fee structure is as follows: ALL PRICES IN CANADIAN DOLLARS

U5, U6, U7/8, U9/10 - $120 - includes bi-weekly group training by CFC coaches ($30 with BC Soccer registration, see below*)

U11/12, U13/14, U15/16 - $115 ($30 with BC Soccer registration, see below*)

* If players did not play in the fall/winter 2016/17 season a $30 fee will be added to the registration fee to cover the annual BC Soccer registration fee. All players in the spring league must be registered with BC Soccer once per year, players who play in the fall will have paid this fee with their fall registration and players who did not play in the fall need to pay it.

Who is eligable to play?

 

All children born between Jan. 1, 2001 to Dec. 31, 2012. No exceptions.

When does registration start?

 

Registration closes February 28. After registration closes players will be put on a wait list and only added to teams in age groups that aren't full and a $50 late fee will apply.

When does the 2017 season start?

 

The season starts Monday, April 10 and will run to the last week of June.

Can I request my child to play on the same team as a friend?

  This year to help balance teams there will be no friend requests.  Teams will be created using school location and combine players of different experience levels.

What nights are the games played on and where?

 

The game days and times for our 2017 season have been finalized. We will be utilizing Exhibition Field turf as our main venue again this year with additional games at Townsend Park turf on Mondays and Wednesdays.

U5/6 Boys - Monday - 5:30 - Exhibition

U5/6 Girls - Monday - 5:30 - Exhibition

 

U7/8 Boys - Tuesday - 5:30 or 6:45 - Exhibition

U7/8 Girls - Monday - 5:30 or 6:45 - Exhibition

 

U9/10 Boys - Monday - 5:30 or 6:45 - Exhibition & Townsend

U9/10 Girls - Thursday - 5:30 - Exhibition

 

U11/12 Boys - Wednesday - 5:30 or 6:45 - Townsend

Are the teams CO-ED?

 

We have decided to keep the youngest age groups separate. There will now be a combined U5/U6 girls group and a U5/U6 boys group. The U15/16 group is co-ed with both boys and girls playing in the same group.

Can my child play in a higher/younger age division?
  No. All players must play in their own age group. No exceptions.

 What equipment do the players need to provide?
   Soccer boots and shin pads are mandatory. Chilliwack FC provides a team jersey and socks for each player.

 How can I apply to coach my child’s team?
 

If registering online there is a button to click if you are interested in being a Coach. Click the appropriate button. If registering in the Chilliwack FC Soccer Office, please let Liz (Office Administrator) know that you are interested in volunteering. If you forgot to click the button, simply give Liz a call at the office, and she will add this to your registration.  Office Phone: 604-792-0090

If selected you will be contacted in early March. All volunteer coaches are required to complete a RCMP Criminal Record Check.  Forms are available here or in the office.
