Chilliwack FC Fundraiser In Support of Two of Our Players

Published Tuesday, February 14, 2017

Two members of the Chilliwack FC family, both under the age of sixteen (16) have recently been diagnosed with cancer. The diagnosis has been incredibly terrifying and overwhelming for both families as well as a financial burden as they do whatever is necessary to help their children fight this terrible disease. Chilliwack FC would like to assist these families by doing a fundraiser at the Chilliwack Chiefs game on Friday February 24th when the Chiefs take on the Penticton Vees at Prospera Centre. Game time is 7pm. Four dollars ($4) from every adult ticket sold, plus the proceeds of the evening’s 50/50 will be split between the two families to help offset any financial burdens they may be experiencing. Chilliwack FC would like to invite you and all of their members as well as their extended family and friends to join us at the game.

If Chilliwack FC raises $10,000 Chilliwack FC Treasurer Jon Freeman will shave his head and if Chilliwack FC meets its target of $15,000 the Board Chair Andrea Laycock will join Jon and also shave her head in support of the two players undergoing treatment.
