Introducing Kick Start Program Lead Coach Steffi Schopf

My name is Steffi Schopf, I am 22yrs old and I’ve been involved with Chilliwack FC as a player since I was 10 years old. I have played at the highest level of youth soccer in the BC Premier League. I am now in the process of developing my coach education with BC Soccer certification courses. I have a great deal of passion for the game and am really excited to now be in the role of Lead Coach for the new Chilliwack FC Kick Start Program.

I am currently graduating at UFV from the Early Childhood Education program. I have completed 400 practicum hours in both daycare facilities and preschools with up to 20 children per class. It is my career goal to continue to work with young children and help nurture their development as young people.

I am looking forward to using my background in early childhood development and blending it with my soccer experience to inspire and hopefully nurture a love for the game of soccer in these young children. I want them to love the game as much as I have learned to over the years. My goal is to make it a fun and exciting learning experience for everyone involved.

I can’t wait to get started!
