Chilliwack FC Programming Update – March 31

Dear Chilliwack FC Families,
We trust this letter finds you all well and like us, anxiously awaiting the start of the spring soccer season. With the Provincial Health Orders still in place until at least April 19th we would like to update you on the where we are at with the spring season as we continue to plan for the unknown.
- Today (March 31st) was payment day for your child(ren)’s spring soccer. If for some reason your payment did not process, we will be in touch with you.
- Chilliwack FC’s COVID-19 Return to Play Policy remains unchanged as of March 31, 2021. To view the policy and our other Health and Safety procedures and protocols please click here.
Chilliwack Ford Spring Soccer League: New start date – April 19th Season End: Last day of games is June 17th.
- We don’t know if we will be able to play games as of this date but we will execute something for the kids as we await the green light for games. Of course, if we can play games, we most certainly will;
- We are planning on grouping teams of cohorts of 4. This is what the health orders in the fall allowed for so this is how we’re approaching the season;
- As of today, provincial health order restricts parents from being able to watch games from within the facility, we are unsure if this will change or not when and if the orders are eased. For the little ones we are working on a plan to get your child(ren) in and out of the facility safely if you are unable to be in the venue by the start date.
- Game Days – We have had to make some changes to the schedule sent previously to accommodate division sizes and anticipated health orders. The days and start times are now set for each division and all games will be played at Exhibition Field:

- *Kick Start will be run over 2 days our coordinator will assign you to your day and time.
- Drop In Sessions: Including in your registration fee is drop in skill training sessions with our staff coaches. These sessions will take place on April 23rd, 30th, and May 7th. All sessions will take place at Chilliwack Senior Secondary School.
Cascadia Soccer League
- With the current health orders in place restricting games, the league has not been able to determine a start date for games. As soon as they do, we will update everyone.
- Training for all teams will begin the week of April 12th.
