Entry Level Referee Clinic – June 18

April 27, 2021

Updated May 27, 2021.

BC Soccer has revamped the referee certification courses in order to make them more accessible for everyone across the province. They have created a hybrid learning system which now includes self-paced online modules and exam for each course; plus theory (via Zoom) and practical (on-field; TBA) components that will be facilitated and taught by BC Soccer referee instructors.

If you know of anyone interested in becoming a referee or upgrading/re-certifying as a soccer official, please encourage them to visit our Referees page to apply. We’re encouraging all our Chilliwack referees, 14 years of age or older, to take the entry-level course. Chilliwack FC has booked our course for Friday, June 18.

The Entry Level Referee Clinic is the entry point into 11 a-side soccer. Once an individual is successful in passing this clinic they will be classified as a Youth Referee (if they are 14 or 15 years old) or a District Referee (if they are 16 years old or older). The updated delivery of the 2021 Entry Level Referee clinic will focus on the latest FIFA teaching materials.
