COVID-19 Potential Exposure Notice

This letter is to advise you that members who participated in Chilliwack FC activities have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. While we cannot disclose the participants’ names because of privacy laws, participants present at the following locations may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Saturday, January 15, 2022 Charles Best Secondary 1:00 – 2:30pm U11 boys game

If a Chilliwack FC participant experiences symptoms of a respiratory illness such as the flu, including fever, dry cough or shortness of breath, please contact Mark Lillicrap, Health and Safety Officer, via email to healthandsafety@chilliwackfc.com as soon as possible.

Affected participants are urged to consult their health care providers and to follow their advice or that of Fraser Health regarding self-monitoring, self-isolation, and COVID-19 testing procedures. Any player, coach or referee not feeling well are not to attend their scheduled Chilliwack FC session until they are symptom-free for 24 hours or as recommended by public health.

During this time, we will continue to closely monitor government and public health developments to determine other steps Chilliwack FC can take during this pandemic. We also urge participants to comply with guidelines from the Provincial Health Office by:

  • Maintaining appropriate “social distancing” measures;
  • Avoid touching of the face;
  • Washing hands frequently; and
  • Wearing a mask or other face covering.
