U11-U18 Development Program
Chilliwack FC’s development team programs are for players aspiring to play competitive soccer throughout the Fall/ Winter Season. Our development teams are for players within the U11 (2013) to U18 (2006).
Chilliwack FC follows Canada Soccer’s on-going assessment model, in which players are monitored throughout the year in their current environments to see where they fit from a development perspective in the following year. Chilliwack FC will be using this past year as our method of assessment regarding player placement. A player that is new to Chilliwack FC, will be placed on a team based on their previous soccer experience, however, may be moved to a higher or lower level of play based on the coach’s assessment in the first few weeks.

Once players are placed on teams, the first few weeks of training will be used to ensure each player is training and playing in the correct environment in comparison to their current level of development. If a coach deems a player to be in an environment that is hindering their development, our club technical director will connect with the coach and player to ensure that the player will be placed in the correct environment for their development.
-Players playing in U11 &; U12 will be playing 8v8 on a super 8 field.
-Players playing U13 will be playing 9v9 on a super 8 field.
-Players playing U14-U18 will be playing 11v11 on an 11v11 field.
Players that partake in one of our development teams will be required to travel within the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland on game days.
Players that partake in one of our development teams will be required to attend all training sessions, games and team events. We require 100% commitment from our players within this program to ensure that they are developing properly and committed to their teams.
Training Days:
Boys- Mondays &; Wednesdays
Girls- Tuesdays &; Thursdays
Game Days:
Boys- Saturday
Girls- Sunday
Season Schedule:
August 2023 to April 2024 (End date is dependent on cup play and when teams play
their last match)
