Program Overview
Chilliwack FC is pleased to offer an Adaptive Program that will allow children and youth (U6-U14) the opportunity to learn and experience soccer in a barrier-free environment.
This program is specifically designed for players with diverse abilities that would benefit from an adapted environment. The goal is to give players the opportunity to learn basic soccer skills and overall motor skills in a supported and small-scale environment while creating new friendships along the way.
Staff coaches will focus on creating opportunities for meaningful participation rather than competition.
Parents are asked to remain present during sessions. Parents will have the opportunity to network with other families.
The curriculum is based on the CSA Long-Term Player Development.
This program may be taken in addition to, or instead of, traditional CFC programs.
Fall 2022-23 Information
The program will kick off on Tuesday September 26th inside the gym at Strathcona Elementary (46375 Strathcona Rd, Chilliwack), the session will start at 5:45pm and end at 6:45pm.

Staff Profiles
Katie Diaz
Katie Diaz was raised in Abbotsford, B.C, where she grew up playing soccer. Katie completed her undergraduate degree at UFV and her Bachelor of Education at SFU. Katie has taught in the Chilliwack School District for six years. She is currently a student services teacher at one of the local secondary schools. In this role, she supports students with diverse abilities and exceptionalities. Katie is also the Jr. Boys and Jr. Girls Soccer coach at the school. Katie, her husband, and two children recently relocated to Chilliwack. She is excited to serve her new community through this exciting new role at Chilliwack FC.
Brady Cameron
Brady Cameron was born and raised in Chilliwack. After schooling at Sardis Elementary, Vedder Middle School and Sardis Secondary, and playing his entire youth soccer career in Chilliwack, he moved to Vancouver to pursue a Human Kinetics degree and play university-level soccer – reaching the National Championships on 2 occasions. He continued his education with both an English Literature degree and multiple education degrees. After spending time teaching in Kamloops, B.C. and London, U.K., he moved back to Chilliwack, where he teaches at a secondary school as a Resource Teacher, working with students with diverse abilities and exceptionalities.
